Lead Pastor: David & Yvonne Maxwell
David and Yvonne are living a beautiful “Chapter 2” season of life together. Married in October 2024, their story is a vibrant showcase of God’s faithfulness—one they love to share with everyone they meet.
The Maxwells joined our staff in February 2025, initially co-pastoring alongside our founders, Bobby and Patti Kuhn. When Bobby and Patti followed God’s call to plant churches in Scotland in June 2025, David stepped into the role of Lead Pastor, carrying forward the vision of our church with passion and grace.
A Growing Legacy
Beyond their ministry at the church, David and Yvonne are incredibly proud of their children, whose own lives reflect a beautiful tapestry of service, faith, and adventure. Mark and his wife Brittney are currently serving our country, stationed overseas with the military. Adam is pursuing his passion for healing as a medical resident at Walter Reed Hospital. Closer to home, Reese and Emily are pouring into the next generation as youth pastors right here in Jackson, while Kadi has taken her talents global, teaching English in South Korea. Whether across town or across the globe, David & Yvonne’s children are making a profound impact on the world around them.
Outside the Church Walls
When they aren’t serving our community, David and Yvonne love staying active and cooking up a storm together in the kitchen. David is a big anime fan, while Yvonne loves diving into historical dramas. They are also incredibly passionate members of the Buffalo Bills Mafia and are faithfully holding out hope for that Super Bowl victory!
